LANKA.TRADE acts as a sourcing and trade facilitation platform connecting buyers with suppliers and export partners.

As most products are supplied by independent suppliers and exporters, refund eligibility depends on the nature of the transaction and the stage of fulfillment.

2. Inquiry and Quotation Services

Submitting inquiries and receiving quotations through LANKA.TRADE is free unless otherwise stated.

Any paid consulting, sourcing, or documentation fees are generally non-refundable once the service has commenced.

3. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before production, packaging, or shipment begins.

If expenses have already been incurred, cancellation charges may apply, including:

• Sampling costs

• Packaging costs

• Documentation costs

• Inspection fees

• Shipping bookings

4. Product Refunds

Refund requests may be considered when:

• Products received differ substantially from the agreed specifications.

• Wrong products were delivered.

• Products are damaged due to supplier or shipping negligence.

• Quantity shortages are verified.

Supporting evidence may be required, including:

• Photos

• Videos

• Inspection reports

• Delivery documents

5. Non-Refundable Situations

6. Samples and Custom Orders

Sample costs, custom-made products, private label products, and specially manufactured orders are non-refundable once production has started.

7. Inspection and Claims

Buyers are encouraged to inspect products immediately upon receipt.

Any claim should be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for review.

8. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method whenever possible.

Processing times may vary depending on banks, payment providers, and international transfer procedures.

LANKA.TRADE acts as a sourcing facilitator and coordinator and does not guarantee refunds for actions, delays, or failures caused by independent suppliers, logistics providers, or third parties.

However, we will make reasonable efforts to assist both parties in reaching a fair resolution.
